Introducing the first annual
CORNBREAD CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

“The Church at Her leisure”
Natchez, Mississippi
November 22, 2025

Because here, we say grace & we say ma’am.
Now, why Natchez?
But, really, why go to some venue that just held a bland insurance conference in an impersonal big city and feel called more by number than by name?
Envelop yourself in southern charm and hang with like-minded folks also ‘workin’ hard to get to heaven.’
Here at Cornbread Catholic, y’all get faithful, Catholic content with the charm of a small, Southern town..
“When it is asked just so, straight out, just so: ‘Why are you a Catholic?’
I usually reply, ‘What else is there?’”
Walker Percy, Signposts in a Strange Land

Kyle is the Founder and Executive Director of Cyprus Island Enterprises, and the author of Blue Collar Catholicism. He’s married to his amazing wife, Kayla, and together they’re raising four young children, who are probably already planning their future farm takeover. They live on a 2.5-acre homestead farm in Southwest Florida, where Kyle’s journey of preparing the farm became the spark of inspiration for his book. Through hard work, faith, and the occasional chicken chase, Kyle’s experiences on the farm have shaped his perspective on life, faith, and the blue-collar spirit he so passionately writes about. He is also host of the Word to Your Mother Podcast and Chief Strategy Officer of The Immaculata Institute which seeks to continue St. Maximilian Kolbe’s mission to consecrate the entire universe to the Immaculata.

Small town Southern charm.
It occurred to us that what is missing from Catholic conferences is the charm of location. The frenetic pace of city life can hinder a conference experience. Combining small town Southern hospitality with the beauty of the Deposit of Faith seemed like a win to us. So, the Cornbread Catholic Conference was born.
